On the road to GDPR compliance
This week UNESDA attended a workshop which addressed the most pressing compliance issues for EU Trade Associations in the context of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In order to understand the impact of the GDPR in practice and how to comply with it, UNESDA took part in various simulations to get prepared to properly implement data protection in its daily activities and across communication tools and channels.
In this context, UNESDA already started reviewing its internal procedures when it comes to data management & protection and updated its Privacy Policy. You can check it out here.
The GDPR will come into force on 25 May 2018.
