UNESDA presents its secondary schools commitment at the EU Platform for Action on Diet, Physical Activity and Health

Last week, UNESDA formally presented its recent commitment in secondary schools at the EU Platform for Action on Diet, Physical Activity and Health. The presentation was given in the presence of a representative of the upcoming Austrian EU Presidency and generated strong interest, triggering a series of questions and comments from Platform members around the scope and levers to be used. Other presentations included the status of implementation of the EU Action Plan on Childhood Obesity in the Member States, and the state of play of the Commission’s report on front-of-pack nutritional labelling.
You can find the UNESDA presentation along with all the others on the European Commission’s public website here.
